Erm, yeah. Haven’t posted for a while. But I haven’t been idle. 53,000 words and counting. Let me know if there’s anything you want me to put in my book that I haven’t mentioned (look at recent posts tagged ‘publishing’ if you don’t know what I’m talking about).
I’ve gotten over 40,000 words done. This is an important benchmark, because 40,000 is generally considered the minimum for a work to be novel-length.
Anyway, I’m thinking about whether to organize the various topics into broad sections–for example I might have ‘Magic’ and ‘Science’–or whether to just put everything into an order, such as alphabetical by section title, that doesn’t group similar subjects together.
Regardless of which I choose, I’m going to have cross-references. For example if a section briefly mentions the ‘hollow Earth’, it would have a link to the hollow Earth section.
Let me know which you’d prefer.
