Maturity or comedy?

Some readers might have noticed a link to ‘Good-Looking Corpse’ in my ‘Other Projects’ list. For those who haven’t, it’s in the right-hand column. This is my eBay hobby business (actually a full-time business that never got big enough, but that’s another story).

Anyway one feature of eBay auctions is that you can make ‘second-chance offers’, to people who bid, but who weren’t the highest bidder. It seems to be intended for cases where the winning buyer pulls out of the sale, but I do it for any auction with more than one bidder,  since I don’t sell one-of-a-kind items.

Well, I got a message back from a bidder, which was as follows:

How about you stop putting bullshit bids on items when i am the only bidder. You’ve done this twice now and frankly it’s not the way ebay is supposed to work. You want to sell your shit? take the bids you get.

Oh user stevemoorey, I know you just seem angry and stupid because you were hurt in the past.

Anyway, should I do the mature thing (ignore them), or the funny thing (send a message back making fun of them and blog about what happens)?

By the way, I posted on your blog asking if you wanted to review ‘The New Death and others’, but I’m not sure if the comment posted.
